On Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Super Sessions it’s time again: Marcus Klossek’s new jazz guitar workshop entitled BEBOP-STYLE GUITAR-LINES will be all about authentic lines in bebop style!
Examples and concepts are presented on how to play really jazzy sounding lines over the most common chords like maj7, min7 and dominant7! With the help of playing techniques such as
- Arpeggio tones
- Chromaticism
- neighboring tones
- Target tones
- Ghost notes
Come along and your solo lines and improvisations will certainly become more fitting, flowing and well-rounded!

Marcus studied music at the Amsterdam University of the Arts and put the finishing touches on his guitar playing in masterclasses with jazz luminaries like Jack deJohnette, Jim Hall and Pat Metheny! Through countless club and festival gigs he is one of the busiest musicians in the German scene and has already released 8 albums with his Marcus Klossek Trio!
The workshop is suitable for anyone who already has some basic guitar knowledge and is new to the field of jazz or wants to brush up on their jazz skills!
