On Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 2 PM, we warmly invite you to the next jazz guitar workshop with Marcus Klossek, under the great title “Twang Up Your Blues”, at Super Sessions!

This time, the workshop is especially aimed at all guitarists who would like to expand their solo vocabulary! Using a blues, we will cover some soloing techniques that will certainly expand your musical horizons:

• Bending
• Chicken picking
• Hammer-ons + pull-offs
• Double Stops
• Hybrid picking

Plus an easy-to-play, groovy rhythm guitar part!

As always, it’s presented in a guitar-friendly way, explained crystal-clear, and written down in standard notation and tabs for you to take home!

Marcus studied music at the Amsterdam University of the Arts and put the finishing touches on his guitar playing in masterclasses with jazz luminaries like Jack deJohnette, Jim Hall and Pat Metheny! Through countless club and festival gigs he is one of the busiest musicians in the German scene and has already released 8 albums with his Marcus Klossek Trio!

The workshop is suitable for anyone who already has some basic guitar knowledge and is new to the field of jazz or wants to brush up on their jazz skills!
